All MÖTEN evfc Level 2 chargers ship with a standard J1772 connector — compatible with most non-Tesla EVs sold in the U.S. Tesla vehicles with a J1772 port (most pre-2023 Model 3 & Y) need the J1772 → NACS adapter; newer Teslas with the native NACS port don't need an adapter at all. Most MÖTEN chargers can also be ordered with a NACS connector option directly — contact us for current availability.

Which pedestal do I need for a single Level 2 charger install?

MÖTEN-PED-S — a single powder-coated steel pedestal at $349.99 USD. It fits all four Level 2 charger families (BOÖTES, LYNX, DRACO, PHOENIX) and ships with anchor bolts. Use it when there is no wall to mount the charger and only one stall is being served. For two adjacent stalls, see PED-SS; for two opposing stalls (centre-aisle parking), see PED-PW.

What is the difference between PED-SS and PED-PW pedestals?

PED-SS (Side-by-Side, $449.99 USD) mounts two chargers facing the SAME direction — used for two adjacent stalls.

PED-PW (Back-to-Back / Pole-Wing, $999.99 USD) mounts two chargers facing OPPOSITE directions — used in centre-aisle parking where the pedestal sits between two opposing rows.

PED-PW costs more than PED-SS because it serves twice as many stalls per slab penetration and uses a heavier-duty centre post.

How long is the pull length of the MÖTEN-RTR retractable cable manager?

The MÖTEN-RTR pulls out to a maximum of 16 ft (4.9 m) and accepts cable diameters from 16 mm to 24 mm — covering every J1772 and NACS cable used on a MÖTEN evfc Level 2 charger.

It uses an auto stop-ratchet mechanism, so the cable locks at any extension and retracts when released. Steel construction, outdoor rated, $299.99 USD.

Do I need an adapter to charge a Tesla on a MÖTEN charger?

Older Tesla vehicles with a J1772 port (most Model 3 and Model Y units sold in North America before 2023) need a J1772 → NACS adapter — ACC-J2NACS, $39.99 USD.

Newer Tesla vehicles with the native NACS port don't need any adapter — most MÖTEN chargers can be ordered with a NACS connector option directly. Contact us for current availability.

What temperatures are MÖTEN pedestals and accessories rated for?

All MÖTEN evfc pedestals, the RTR retractor, and the J-Hook holster are rated for -40°C to +50°C operation.

Pedestals are hot-dip galvanized then powder coated. Adapters are ETL Listed (NRTL-certified to UL 2231/2251 standards) and rated for daily public-site use including outdoor exposure.

Is shipping included on accessory orders?

Yes — accessories ship free with every MÖTEN charger order, bundled into one shipment with your chargers. For accessory-only orders, freight is quoted separately. We ship from our U.S. warehouse with standard transit times across the contiguous 48 states.

Can I bundle accessories with my charger order on one invoice?

Yes — and we recommend it. Bundling pedestals, retractors, and adapters with your charger order means one invoice, one shipment, and one warranty claim path. The same 3-year warranty covers everything in the box.

Will MÖTEN pedestals fit chargers from other brands?

Bolt patterns are spec'd specifically for MÖTEN evfc Level 2 chargers (BOÖTES, LYNX, DRACO, PHOENIX). Some third-party chargers may share standard bolt patterns and fit, but we don't certify compatibility outside our own product line.

If you want third-party fit confirmed, send us the charger model and we'll check the bolt pattern before you order.
