01Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected by EVFastCharge Ltd., a Delaware corporation doing business as MÖTEN evfc (collectively "we," "us," or "our"), through:

• Our website at evfc.com and all country editions (e.g., evfc.com/ca/, evfc.com/pk/)
• Our products, including MÖTEN evfc hardware chargers and the eMÖTEN Charger Management System (CMS) software
• Our sales, support, and installation services
• Our marketing communications, including email newsletters, advertising, and social media

This policy does not cover third-party websites, services, or applications that may be linked from our site (e.g., payment processors, social platforms, distributor partners). Those services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.

02Information we collect

Information you provide directly

• Contact and account information — name, business name, email, phone number, mailing address, job title, country/region.
• Order and payment information — billing address, shipping address, items ordered. Payment card data is processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Sales and support communications — messages you send via the contact form, support email, sales calls, or chat.
• Charger and site data (CMS customers only) — when you operate MÖTEN evfc hardware connected to our eMÖTEN CMS, the CMS processes charging-session data, fault codes, energy usage, and configuration parameters on your behalf.

Information collected automatically

• Device and browser data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, time-zone.
• Usage data — pages viewed, time spent, clicks, searches, products viewed.
• Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 6.

Information from third parties

• Payment processors confirm whether transactions succeeded but do not share full card details with us.
• Advertising partners (e.g., Google Ads, Meta) may share aggregated audience signals.
• Distributors and resellers may share order information when fulfilling on our behalf.

03How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process orders, deliver products, and fulfill warranty and support obligations.
• Operate the eMÖTEN CMS for our customers.
• Respond to inquiries, sales requests, and customer support.
• Send transactional communications (order confirmations, shipping updates, support replies, security notices, warranty notifications).
• Send marketing communications when you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any marketing email.
• Improve our products, website, and services, including running analytics and aggregated usage research.
• Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security risks, and violations of our terms.
• Comply with legal obligations, including tax, import/export, and electrical-product regulatory requirements.

04When we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as described below:

• Service providers who help us run the business — shipping carriers, payment processors, email delivery services, cloud hosting providers, customer support tools, analytics providers. They are bound by contractual data-protection obligations.
• Distributors and installation partners when needed to fulfill your order or installation.
• Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect rights, property, safety, or to investigate fraud or security incidents.
• Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of company assets, information may be transferred to the relevant parties subject to this policy.
• With your consent — in any other case, only with your prior consent.

05Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our products and services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specific retention periods depend on the type of information:

06Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, local storage, server logs) for three purposes:

• Strictly necessary — keep you logged in, remember cart contents, route requests securely. Cannot be disabled without breaking the site.
• Analytics — measure how the site is used so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4 (see Section 7).
• Advertising — show you relevant ads on other properties and measure ad campaign effectiveness. We use Google Ads and Meta Pixel.

You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings or through our cookie banner on first visit. EU/UK visitors are presented with a consent prompt before non-essential cookies are set; consent defaults are configured via Google Consent Mode v2.

07Analytics & advertising

We use the following third-party services on evfc.com:

• Google Analytics 4 — usage analytics. Google privacy policy
• Google Ads — conversion tracking and remarketing. Google privacy policy
• Meta Pixel (Facebook) — conversion tracking and remarketing. Meta privacy policy
• Google Site Kit — site administration and analytics aggregation.
• LiteSpeed Cache — performance caching (does not personalize).

You can opt out of Google Analytics via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and you can opt out of personalized advertising via the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool.

08Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest where applicable, role-based access control, vendor security review, and incident response procedures. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of personal information we hold about you
• Correct — request correction of inaccurate information
• Delete — request deletion (subject to legal retention obligations)
• Port — receive your information in a portable format
• Opt out — of marketing, "sale" or sharing of information for cross-context advertising, and profiling for decisions producing legal effects
• Restrict / object — restrict or object to certain processing
• Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@evfc.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by your applicable law (typically 30–45 days). We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

10California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

• Right to know the categories of personal information we have collected, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purpose, and the categories of third parties to whom we have disclosed it
• Right to delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information
• Right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights

Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with verifiable written permission. To submit a CCPA request, email privacy@evfc.com.

11International transfers

We are based in the United States. If you access our site or services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate. We use standard contractual clauses and other legally recognized safeguards for international transfers where required.

12Children

Our products and services are intended for businesses and adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Effective" date at the top. For significant changes, we may also notify you by email. Continued use of our products and services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
