Distributor is for companies that want to buy MÖTEN hardware at distributor pricing and resell it, with no inventory required, since Level 2 drop-ships in 48 hours from the US warehouse. Reseller is for US-based systems integrators bundling MÖTEN hardware with their own services, software, or vertical solutions. Affiliate is for any business referring qualified MÖTEN customers without taking title to hardware, including consultants, energy advisors, EV media, and software vendors.
The Distributor program is non-exclusive and volume-tiered. Every approved distributor starts as Authorized with distributor pricing and no inventory requirement, Level 2 ships in 48 hours from the US warehouse, so you can drop-ship to your customers and never hold stock. Distributors who reach 25 units per year advance to Preferred for better pricing, a co-marketing fund, and lead routing. Distributors who reach 100 units per year advance to Premier for the best pricing, priority lead routing, first look at government and utility tenders, and a named regional manager.
US-based systems integrators get reseller pricing on MÖTEN hardware, drop-ship from the Wilmington warehouse, white-labelable eMÖTEN CMS dashboards on MÖTEN chargers, NEVI-compliant documentation, and co-bid support on public RFPs. The Reseller track is hardware-only by default; integrators wanting to extend with installation services can pair with Installer Connect at the appropriate tier.
Affiliates refer qualified leads to MÖTEN using a unique tracking link or referral code. Closed deals pay a commission of 3 to 8 percent of hardware revenue depending on deal size and track tier, with payment after the customer's 30-day return window closes. Affiliates take no hardware inventory and have no installation obligation. The track is hardware-agnostic, affiliates can refer customers to MÖTEN alongside other charging brands in their portfolio.
Distributor and Reseller are mutually exclusive within the same business entity, since both involve buying hardware at partner pricing. Affiliate can be paired with either. Many distributors also run their own affiliate referral effort to extend reach beyond their direct sales force.
There is no minimum to join as an Authorized distributor, you advance to Preferred and Premier by reaching 25 and 100 units per year, not by committing up front. Level 2 hardware is carried in US inventory and ships within 48 hours, so you can drop-ship to your customers without holding stock. DC fast chargers and Battery-Buffered systems are made to order and fulfilled within 60 days, ahead of the 90-day-plus lead times common across the DC fast charging industry.
