About These Resources

Common questions about the Resources Center.

For product-specific questions, head to the full FAQ.

Are these resources free to use?
Yes. Every page in the Resources Center — the FAQ, glossary, spec sheets, install guides, and blog — is free to access without an account. Spec sheets and install manuals can be downloaded as PDFs at no charge.
Where does the FAQ pricing and policy information come from?
FAQ answers about pricing, warranty, returns, and shipping are sourced from official MÖTEN evfc policy documents and are reviewed by the EVFastCharge Ltd. operations team. Where a country or region has different terms (for example, Canadian warranty versus US warranty), the FAQ flags it and links to the regional policy page.
Do the spec sheets reflect the latest hardware revisions?
All spec sheets in the library are versioned and dated. Each PDF lists its revision number on the cover page. When a hardware revision ships, the corresponding spec sheet is updated within 30 days and the prior version is archived rather than deleted.
Are the install guides intended for DIY installation?
No. MÖTEN install guides are written for licensed electricians and certified EV charging installers. Level 2 and DC fast charging hardware involves dedicated circuits, load calculations, and code compliance that require a qualified professional. DIY installation may void the product warranty — see the warranty information page for details.
How often is the glossary updated?
The glossary is reviewed quarterly and updated whenever a new industry standard is ratified (for example, OCPP version updates, ISO 15118 plug-and-charge revisions, or new connector standards such as NACS). Suggestions for new terms can be sent to resources@evfc.com.
Can I link to a specific FAQ answer or glossary term?
Yes. Every FAQ answer and every glossary term has its own anchor link. Hover over any question or term heading to reveal the link icon, or copy the URL from your browser bar after clicking the heading. Anchors are stable — if a question gets reworded, we add a redirect rather than break existing links.
How do I report an error or out-of-date information?
Email resources@evfc.com with the page URL and a brief description of the issue. Corrections to factual errors (specs, prices, code references) are typically published within five business days. Editorial suggestions are reviewed during the next quarterly update cycle.
Is the blog updated on a regular schedule?
The blog is launching in stages. Initial posts will cover deployment case studies, OCPP integration walkthroughs, US rebate program updates, and battery-buffered system economics. Once active, new posts publish on a roughly bi-weekly cadence. You can subscribe to the RSS feed when the blog goes live.
