Why MÖTEN

Engineering you can trust. Trades that know your code.

Most installers are generalists with a charger catalogue. We are the manufacturer and the integrator. Every project is engineered by the same team that designed the hardware — then executed by licensed local trades vetted to our standard.

One team, one contract

You sign one fixed-fee agreement covering site assessment, engineering, permits, installation, and commissioning. No subcontractor finger-pointing. Your MÖTEN project manager is your single point of accountability from quote to go-live.

Engineered by the people who built the hardware

Our engineering team designs the FALCAO, LYNX, PHOENIX, and XEYAR product lines. When they design your installation, they are designing for hardware they know down to the bus bar. No translation loss between manufacturer and installer.

Vetted local trades in every market

Permits, code, and utilities are local — so the hands on the conduit should be too. We partner with licensed electrical and civil contractors in every market we serve, vetted on safety record, certifications, and prior EV work. Local fluency, MÖTEN standards.

Live and earning, monitored from day one

Commissioning includes activation of the eMÖTEN Charger Management System on MÖTEN chargers — uptime monitoring, OCPP integration, and revenue dashboards configured before we hand over the keys. You leave the project live, not waiting for a software call.

Frequently Asked

Questions, answered straight.

The most common questions we get from procurement teams, fleet managers, and property owners during the first conversation.

Do you really install EV chargers anywhere in the world?
Yes. We deliver projects across North America, Latin America, the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and Australasia — 17 dedicated regional sites covering 50+ countries on 6 continents. Our model pairs MÖTEN engineering with vetted local electrical and civil trades in each market. The engineering, project management, and commissioning are run by us; the on-site labour is performed by licensed contractors who know your local code, your local utility, and your permitting authority.
What is included in the free site assessment?
We review your electrical service capacity, parking layout, vehicle and dwell-time profile, utility account, available rebates and incentives, and any code or HOA constraints. You receive a written assessment with a recommended configuration and a fixed-fee installation estimate. Most assessments are completed remotely from photos, drawings, and a utility bill; site visits are scheduled for Complex tier projects.
What is the difference between Basic, Standard, and Complex installations?
Basic covers single-port or small Level 2 arrays within reach of an existing panel — typically 1 to 3 days on site. Standard covers multi-port Level 2 arrays with a dedicated subpanel, permits, and utility coordination — typically 1 to 3 weeks. Complex covers DC fast charging, battery-buffered clusters, transformer or service upgrades, and civil works — typically 6 to 16 weeks. Your free estimate identifies the right tier.
How quickly can you start a project?
Basic and Standard installations typically start within 2 to 4 weeks of a signed estimate. Complex projects depend on permitting and utility lead times in your jurisdiction; we begin engineering and submittals immediately on signature so the on-site work can start the moment approvals land.
Do you handle permits, utility coordination, and rebate applications?
Yes — these are included in Standard and Complex tiers and available as add-ons for Basic. Our project managers prepare and submit electrical permits, coordinate with the utility on service capacity and meter changes, and prepare rebate or incentive applications where they apply in your market.
What chargers can you install?
Our installation crews are trained on the full MÖTEN range — Level 2 chargers, pedestals, DC fast chargers, and battery-buffered clusters — and we can install third-party hardware where required. The eMÖTEN Charger Management System ships included with every MÖTEN charger and is activated as part of commissioning at no additional cost.
What does commissioning include?
Final electrical inspection sign-off, charger network onboarding, OCPP integration, payment terminal activation where applicable, eMÖTEN CMS configuration, load and end-to-end charging tests, driver-app pairing, and a written commissioning report. Your site is left live, earning, and monitored.
What warranty and post-install support do you offer?
All MÖTEN hardware carries the standard product warranty. Installation workmanship is warranted for 12 months as standard, extendable to 24 or 36 months. eMÖTEN CMS provides 24/7 remote monitoring with email and dashboard alerts; on-site service contracts are available in every market we operate in.
