About MÖTEN evfc

Built to last.
Built for the world.

We’re EVFastCharge Ltd. — the company behind MÖTEN evfc: certified Level 2 chargers, DC fast chargers, patent-pending battery-buffered clusters, and the proprietary eMÖTEN CMS. Designed in North America, manufactured globally, shipped to 14 countries — and built on one principle: you own your infrastructure, not your vendor.

Why we built this

The EV charging industry was set up to charge you twice.

Once for the hardware. Then forever for the software, the network, and the right to use what you already own.

Every EV charger needs a Charger Management System (CMS) to do anything useful — pricing, payments, access control, reporting, OCPP integration. Most vendors bundle the hardware at a competitive price, then bill you $15–$30 per port per monthforever — for the software. They take a cut of every transaction. They lock the firmware. And the moment you try to leave, your hardware turns into a paperweight.

We started MÖTEN evfc on a different premise: infrastructure should belong to the people who pay for it. So we built our own CMS — eMÖTEN CMS — and bundled it free with every charger we ship. No monthly fee. No transaction cut. No proprietary lock-in. We compete on the hardware, the software, and the support — not on hostage-taking.

That decision shaped everything else. It’s why we engineer for OCPP open standards. It’s why we publish honest pricing in 14 currencies. It’s why our patent-pending battery-buffered clusters let small electrical services support 8–20 charging ports without a utility upgrade. And it’s why our customers stay — not because they’re trapped, but because they don’t want to leave.

If you have to lock your customers in to keep them, you don’t have customers. You have hostages.

— The MÖTEN evfc operating principle

What we set out to fix

Five things the industry got wrong.

  • Mandatory monthly CMS fees. $15–$30/port/month forever, on hardware you already paid for.
  • Proprietary firmware lock-in. Switch vendors and your chargers stop working. Closed protocols by design.
  • Transaction take-rates. 5–15% of every kWh sold goes to the network — not the site host.
  • Grid-upgrade gatekeeping. “You need 800A service” pushes deployments past financial viability.
  • Unprovable warranty claims. “3-year warranty” with conditions that void the moment you file.
MÖTEN evfc exists because none of these had to be true.
What we stand for

Mission, vision, and the three principles we won’t bend on.

Most company values pages are decoration. Ours actually decide product calls. If a feature breaks one of these, it doesn’t ship.

Our Mission

Make charging infrastructure that’s actually profitable — not just possible.

We exist to put the economics of EV charging back in the hands of site owners, fleet operators, property managers, and homeowners. That means certified hardware at honest prices, software included for life on every MÖTEN charger, and infrastructure that earns — not bleeds.

Our Vision

A world where charging an EV is as simple, open, and ownable as plugging in a fridge.

No subscription to make it work. No proprietary plug. No vendor permission slip. Just standard hardware, open protocols (OCPP 1.6 / 2.0.1), and software that respects the people who paid for it. That’s the future we’re building toward, one site at a time, in 14 countries and counting.

The three principles

If a feature breaks one of these, it doesn’t ship.

PRINCIPLE 01

Honesty in numbers.

Every spec we publish is third-party verifiable. Every “free” claim names what it’s free on. Every price is in your local currency. We don’t round up uptime, round down warranty fine print, or use weasel words.

PRINCIPLE 02

Open by default.

Open Charge Point Protocol on every charger, every firmware. Open API on the CMS. Open documentation. If you ever want to leave us, take your hardware with you — it will work on any OCPP-compliant network. The lock-in stops here.

PRINCIPLE 03

You own what you buy.

Once you take delivery, the hardware is yours. The data is yours. The revenue is yours. We don’t hold firmware hostage, take a cut of your kWh sales, or charge for software access on MÖTEN chargers. Buying from us means owning — not renting forever.

What we build

Four product lines. One platform.

Every charger we ship runs on the same open eMÖTEN CMS. Mix L2, DCFC, and battery-buffered clusters on a single dashboard — no per-charger licenses, no per-port fees.

The platform underneath

eMÖTEN CMS — $0/month on MÖTEN chargers, for life.

Our charger management system runs every charger we ship: pricing, payments, RFID/app/scan-to-pay access, real-time dashboards, OCPP 1.6 / 2.0.1 backhaul, OTA firmware, and white-label branding. No per-port subscription, no transaction fee, no expiry. Included free with every MÖTEN charger we sell.

Frequently asked

About MÖTEN evfc, answered.

The questions we get from procurement teams, electrical contractors, fleet operators, and homeowners — before they place an order.

Who owns MÖTEN evfc, and where is the company headquartered?

MÖTEN, evfc, and eMÖTEN are trademarks of EVFastCharge Ltd., a privately-held Delaware corporation headquartered at 1007 N Orange St, FL 4 STE 1974, Wilmington, DE 19801, USA. We operate through regional entities including EVFastCharge Ltd. (Canada) in Mississauga, Ontario and EVFastCharge (Pvt) Ltd. in Karachi, Pakistan, with regional distribution offices in Australia, Brazil, Colombia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, México, Argentina and Centroamérica.

What does “evfc” stand for, and how is the brand pronounced?

evfc stands for EV Fast Charge — the descriptive line under the MÖTEN hardware brand. Together they read “MÖTEN EV Fast Charge,” commonly shortened to MÖTEN evfc. The MÖTEN wordmark is always written with capital M, Ö, T, E, N; the evfc mark is always lowercase. eMÖTEN (lowercase e + capital MÖTEN) is the name of our charger management software platform.

Is MÖTEN evfc a manufacturer, a distributor, or a software company?

All three. EVFastCharge Ltd. designs the MÖTEN hardware lineup — Level 2, DC fast, and battery-buffered — and contracts manufacturing through ISO 9001 facilities, then distributes through regional warehouses in 14 countries. We also build and operate the eMÖTEN CMS platform in-house, which is included free for life on every MÖTEN charger we ship. We are not a reseller of someone else’s hardware.

How can the eMÖTEN CMS be free for life when competitors charge $15–$30 per port per month?

Two reasons. First, the eMÖTEN CMS is software we built ourselves — we don’t pay a license fee to a third party, so the only ongoing cost is hosting, which is a small per-charger fraction of a cent per session. Second, we treat the CMS as part of the hardware purchase, not a recurring revenue stream. The free-for-life promise applies on MÖTEN chargers — if you bring third-party hardware onto our platform via OCPP, that connection is offered separately. We’d rather sell you the next charger than charge you rent on the one you already own.

What is the patent-pending battery-buffered cluster, and why does it matter?

It’s our patent-pending DC clustered architecture that lets a single building support 8–20 EV charging ports without a transformer or service upgrade. The system stores energy on-site — we use sodium-ion (Na-ion) and supercapacitor chemistries instead of lithium to eliminate thermal-runaway risk — and dispatches it on demand to any combination of Level 2 and DC fast ports inside a single UL 9540-certified boundary. For high-rises, condos, retail, and any site where utility upgrades cost $50K–$200K and take 6–18 months, this is what makes EV charging financially viable today.

Where do MÖTEN chargers ship from, and how long does delivery take?

Stocked Level 2 SKUs ship within 48 hours from the regional warehouse closest to you: USA orders ship from US fulfillment, Canadian orders from Mississauga ON, Pakistani orders from Karachi, Australian orders from Sydney, and so on. DC fast chargers and battery-buffered cluster systems are built-to-order with typical lead times of 4–8 weeks. Choose your country at the top of any page to see exact in-stock availability and shipping windows for your market.

Are MÖTEN chargers OCPP compliant — can I use them on a third-party network?

Yes, on every model we sell. MÖTEN hardware ships fully OCPP 1.6 and 2.0.1 compliant, which means you can connect it to any OCPP-compatible network — ChargePoint, Driivz, Greenlots, AmpUp, EV Connect, GreenFlux, EVConnect, AddEnergie and others. You’re never locked into our eMÖTEN CMS. We just believe ours is better — and it’s included free with every MÖTEN charger, so you can compare without commitment.

How do I get a quote, and who do I talk to for press, partnerships, or installer enrollment?

For sales and quotes, request one at evfc.com/contact or call +1 (888) 528-7582. For press inquiries, email press@evfc.com. For partnership and distribution opportunities, email partners@evfc.com. To enroll as a certified installer, see our Become an Installer page. For region-specific contact (Canada, Pakistan, UAE, KSA, Australia, etc.), use the country selector at the top of any page.
