What is XEYAR Battery Buffered charging and why does it matter?

Battery Buffered charging puts an on-site energy storage system between the grid and the chargers. The XEYAR shared DC bus architecture lets grid input and battery discharge work at the same time and add together, so a standard 100 A service can drive up to 720 kW of EV charging.

It matters because the biggest blocker in commercial EV charging is usually not the chargers: it is getting enough electrical service. XEYAR systems avoid the months-long utility transformer upgrade and its upfront cost, and where the utility offers grid programs the battery can earn extra revenue. Patent Pending · USPTO + CIPO.

Are MÖTEN chargers code-compliant and certified?

MÖTEN chargers are ETL certified for North America and FCC compliant, and ENERGY STAR on select models (DORADO, LYNX and PHOENIX). Software: OCPP 1.6, 2.0.1 ready. EV charging standard: IEC 61851.

Each model's certifications are listed on its product page and spec sheet. For commercial installations we provide a documentation package for your inspector (AHJ): spec sheets, certification letters and one-line diagrams.

Are MÖTEN chargers compatible with Tesla NACS and CCS?

Yes. Level 2 chargers ship with the SAE J1772 connector, the Level 2 standard in North America, and work with Tesla vehicles through a J1772 adapter.

DC Fast Chargers are available with CCS1 and NACS (SAE J3400) connectors. Many configurations support both connectors on one dispenser.

How long from order to commissioning?

Home and Commercial Level 2 chargers typically ship in 48 hours from US stock and can be commissioned the same day. DC Fast Chargers and battery-buffered cluster systems are built to order and ship in 4 to 8 weeks depending on configuration. DC fast chargers commission in 7 to 21 days.

The bigger time saving is avoiding utility work: a conventional 12-port Level 2 site often needs a transformer or service upgrade that takes months through the utility. A battery-buffered cluster runs on the existing 100 A service, so there is no utility upgrade to wait for.
